GPU Design Verification Engineer

Intel Intel · Semiconductors · California, Folsom, United States

Intel is seeking a GPU Design Verification Engineer to ensure the functional accuracy and performance of their GPU architectures. The role involves developing verification plans, test benches, and executing simulations to validate designs, debug issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The position requires experience in System Verilog, UVM, and scripting languages, with a focus on graphics IP verification for integrated, discrete, and AI-enabled platforms.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop scalable and reusable IP verification plans, test benches, and architectures for graphics logic components, including 3D graphics, media, and display.
  2. Execute verification plans and run system simulation models to validate design, analyze power and timing, and identify bugs.
  3. Debug and resolve failing tests in the pre-silicon environment, root cause issues, and implement corrective measures.
  4. Collaborate with architects, RTL developers, and physical design teams to enhance verification methodologies and meet functional, performance, and power goals.
  5. Write specifications for design enhancements and code design changes in RTL while adhering to coding guidelines.
