GPU Verification Engineer - New College Grad 2026

NVIDIA is seeking a GPU Verification Engineer to verify the ASIC design, architecture, and micro-architecture of NVIDIA GPUs and SoCs. Responsibilities include developing test plans, designing test generators for CPU/GPU interactions and memory coherency, and developing verification infrastructure. Requires a Master's or PhD in EE, CE, or CS, with C/C++ programming and scripting skills. Background in computer architecture and memory models is needed.

What you'd actually do

  1. As a member of the GPU verification team, you will be responsible for verifying the ASIC design, architecture and micro-architecture of NVIDIA GPUs and SoCs using sophisticated verification methodologies.
  2. You are encouraged to understand the design and its implementation, define the verification scope, develop the test plans and coordinate tasks within the GPU verification teams.
  3. Design and develop test generators that will verify and validate the CPU and GPU interactions, memory coherency and consistency.
  4. Develop the verification infrastructure using state of the art verification methodologies and tools.
  5. Collaborate with architects, designers, pre- and post-silicon verification teams to accomplish your tasks.

Skills

Required

  • Master's or PhD Degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
  • Ability to program in C/C++
  • Automate/write scripts in Perl/Python/shell
  • Background in computer architecture
  • Background in memory models
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to operate in a dynamic and distributed team

  • Exposure to design and verification tools (VCS, emulation, FPGA, debug tools)
