This role is for a Ground MILSATCOM Systems Test and Integration Engineer at Boeing, focusing on the development of satellite ground mission planning systems. What you'd actually do

  1. Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
  2. Evaluates customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.
  3. Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.
  4. Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.
  5. Develops, maintains and identifies improvements for the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of engineering experience
  • Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • Experience in software systems engineering or test
  • Experience in all aspects of test management including test definition, test execution, verification traceability, unit, factory, and site customer testing.
  • Experience working with customers and users/operators to define functional and performance requirements, software interfaces, use cases and user stories
  • Experience with satellite ground systems and the satellite operations domain
  • Experience with Model Based Engineering through-out the development lifecycle
  • Experience collaborating with developers using agile development tools and practices
  • Experience using Atlassian Jira
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must be willing to travel domestically as needed

  • Lead, Level 4: 9+ years of related engineering experience
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
