This role is for a Group Finance Manager in Supply Chain at Microsoft, focusing on server component pricing. What you'd actually do

  1. Own the monthly server rate card publication process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with business and sourcing strategies.
  2. Establish pricing governance frameworks that balance cost transparency, scalability, and financial discipline.
  3. Act as a trusted finance partner to sourcing, supply chain, and operations leaders to drive cost efficiency and price accuracy.
  4. Lead the adoption of advanced analytics across server pricing and rate card processes.
  5. Oversee development of dashboards, automation, and standardized reporting to enhance cost and spend visibility.

Skills

Required

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience.

Nice to have

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in finance, pricing, analytics, supply chain finance, or related roles within a complex, global organization.
  • Demonstrated experience owning pricing, rate cards, cost models, or financial analytics that directly influence business or sourcing decisions.
  • Proven people leadership experience, including building, coaching, and developing high‑performing teams.
  • Business partnership skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across finance, operations, and sourcing.
  • Experience working with large, complex data sets, translating financial and operational data into actionable insights.
