This role is for a Group Manager at Adobe focused on driving adoption and engagement of Adobe Creative Cloud and Generative AI workflows within Higher Education institutions in India. The manager will build relationships with academic leadership, define engagement strategies, develop adoption programs, and bridge the gap between industry expectations and academic delivery. The role emphasizes driving key engagement KPIs and collaborating with marketing, product, and sales teams. While the role involves understanding generative AI in creative production, its primary focus is on product adoption and strategic partnerships within the education sector, not on building or researching AI models themselves.

What you'd actually do

  1. Build trusted relationships with design and film faculty, chairs, and deans and advise on curriculum modernization, generative AI adoption, and industry-aligned creative workflows.
  2. Define and execute a comprehensive engagement strategy to drive active usage, retention, and depth of adoption of Adobe Creative Cloud and Generative AI across HED institutions with a focus on Film and Design schools and Adobe Express in other Higher Education institutions.
  3. Identify and activate key levers of engagement including faculty advocacy, student communities, and curriculum integration. Translate institutional needs into scalable programs that integrate Adobe tools into curriculum, student workflows, and faculty practices.
  4. Bridge the gap between industry expectations and academic delivery, positioning Adobe tools as critical to career readiness. Facilitate collaborations between industry professionals and academic institutions.
  5. Design and lead structured high-impact programs such as industry events, campus events, faculty enablement programs, student ambassador networks, creative challenges, hackathons and showcases, industry-led masterclasses and workshops

Skills

Required

  • Proven track record of driving business outcomes (adoption, usage, growth).
  • Understanding of professional design workflows and creative production pipelines, with knowledge of the film industry as a plus.
  • Proven ability to influence academic leadership and complex institutions.
  • Practical and informed perspective on generative AI in creative production.
  • Experience working across design, motion, and video creative teams.
  • Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution—defining scope, aligning teams, managing timelines and resources, and delivering high-impact outcomes in creative and academic environments.
  • 12-15+ years in Media & Entertainment/Creative Industries, Higher Education (Film, Design, Creative Arts), EdTech / SaaS engagement or partnerships roles.
