Group Product Manager, Consumer Shopping

Product Management leader for Consumer Shopping at Google, driving strategy and end-to-end product goals for key priorities. This role involves working cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch, with a focus on AI-driven changes in commerce and enabling shoppers in new ways. The role requires inspiring engineering teams to innovate with ML and LLMs, and experience building AI-native product experiences is preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and execute Shopping strategy in collaboration with other product leaders across the company, identifying key growth opportunities and driving innovation.
  2. Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and emerging trends in retail, including the latest technologies and consumer behavior.
  3. Collaborate with other teams across Google, including product, engineering, marketing, legal, and finance, to ensure alignment and integration with the overall business objectives.
  4. Inspire engineering teams to innovate, invent, implement and deploy complex software solutions, especially in regards to modernizing the architecture through Machine Learning (ML) and Large Language Models (LLMs).
  5. Cultivate leadership talent through effective mentoring, coaching, succession planning and strategies for key talent in a fast growth, highly competitive economic environment.
