Group Product Manager, Core Rider

Group Product Manager for Lyft's Core Rider team, responsible for the consumer app's journey from request to in-trip experience, including extensions for AVs and specific segments. Manages a team of PMs and leads cross-functional teams to define product vision, strategy, and execution for millions of daily users.

What you'd actually do

  1. Understand Lyft's strategic and competitive position. Set your team's goals and success metrics that align with Lyft's mission and drive maximum impact based on data analysis, market research and usability studies
  2. Set an incredibly ambitious vision that motivates and inspires your team, peers and leadership and scales equally well across places and situations of all types
  3. Completely own your team's products, existing or new, from ideation, through development, to experiment, launch, growth and maintenance, caring deeply about our users
  4. Lead and align cross functional partners and teams: engineers, designers, analysts, marketers, business partners and operations to drive a shared vision
  5. Communicate clear roadmaps, priorities, experiments and decisions across a wide spectrum of audiences from partner teams to executive level

Skills

Required

  • 6+ years of experience in product management, product design or equivalent consultant experience with significant time spent leading consumer mobile apps
  • 2+ years of experience managing product managers
  • Ability to conceptualize, manage and prioritize multiple projects for stakeholders
  • Detail oriented with superior organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills and intuition for communication strategy at every level
  • Experience leading post-launch optimizations including developing testing strategies
