Adobe is seeking a Group Manager of UX Research to lead researchers within the Document Cloud portfolio, shaping research direction across key product areas including emerging AI-powered workflows. The role involves mentoring a team, driving research planning and execution, and partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure user understanding drives product decisions.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of UX researchers and strategists, encouraging a culture of curiosity, rigor, and continuous learning.
  2. Attract and hire strong research talent, ensuring a diverse and inclusive team with a high bar for craft.
  3. Drive research planning and execution across multiple product areas, ensuring high-quality insights that inform product roadmaps, 1.0 AI initiatives, and redesigns.
  4. Partner deeply with cross-functional teams (Design, Product, Engineering, Data Science) to ensure research is embedded early and often in the product development lifecycle.
  5. Translate research insights into actionable recommendations, influencing product direction and helping teams navigate ambiguity with clarity and confidence.

Skills

Required

  • 8–10+ years of experience in UX research or strategy
  • 3–5+ years leading researchers or cross-disciplinary teams
  • Demonstrated ability to lead with empathy, cultivate psychological safety, and empower teams to do impactful work.
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Strong facilitation skills across product-design-engineering teams
  • Deep expertise in strategic research

  • Experience working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
