Spotify is seeking a Growth Manager for Japan to drive user and subscriber growth. This role involves defining and executing Japan-specific growth strategies, leading end-to-end growth initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in growth, product marketing, or strategy, strong analytical skills, and fluency in Japanese and English.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the growth strategy for Japan, defining market-level priorities, success metrics, and trade-offs across the user lifecycle in partnership with regional and global teams
  2. Translate global and regional growth priorities into locally relevant strategies informed by data and market insights
  3. Lead the planning and execution of growth campaigns, ensuring high-quality delivery from campaign initiation through execution, optimization, and post-campaign analysis
  4. Partner closely with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Music, Analytics, Strategy & Operations, Product, Legal, and Finance to deliver aligned and effective initiatives
  5. Manage key stakeholders across Japan and the region, clearly communicating strategy, progress, results, and learnings

Skills

Required
