Uber Direct is seeking a Growth Strategy Manager in Athens, Greece, to own the Go-To-Market commercial strategy, including pipeline creation and sales, for their white-label delivery service. The role involves transitioning to scaling merchant operations and driving long-term commercial health, acting as a liaison between digital strategy and delivery operations. Success requires a data-driven approach, problem-solving skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders in a high-pressure environment. The ideal candidate will have strategic, sales, and account management skills, with operational curiosity, and the opportunity to launch a market from scratch.

What you'd actually do

  1. Closing the best partnerships with the right merchants, at the right commercials, with a strong cross-functional commercial team.
  2. Driving growth, operational excellence and financial sustainability with our live merchant partners.
  3. You will build long-term relationships with your key accounts and be the main point of contact across the org, from Store Manager to HQ, focusing on improving their operations and optimizing our commercials.
  4. Quantify everything you do. Utilize an analytical approach to understand the performance of initiatives to ensure you are effectively prioritizing those with the highest return on investment.
  5. This role will require fast thinking and moving swiftly through high-pressure environments.

  • 3+ years of customer or client facing experience ideally in account management or consulting
