Gtm Compensation Lead

Supabase is seeking an experienced Go-To-Market (GTM) Compensation Lead to own and scale global sales compensation operations within the Finance organization. This role involves end-to-end commission operations, financial reporting, controls, cross-functional partnership, and process optimization. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in Sales/GTM Compensation, Finance, or RevOps, with strong analytical skills and experience in a high-growth SaaS environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the quarterly commission calculation process across all GTM roles
  2. Translate compensation plans into structured, auditable calculation logic
  3. Validate quotas, attainment, accelerators, SPIFFs, clawbacks, and adjustments
  4. Ensure calculations are completed on schedule with a high degree of accuracy
  5. Maintain clear documentation of methodologies, assumptions, and plan logic

Skills

Required

  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets
  • Strong understanding of SaaS GTM metrics (ARR, ACV, bookings, expansions, churn)
  • Strong financial and analytical rigor
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Comfort handling highly sensitive compensation data

Nice to have

  • Experience with compensation automation tools (CaptivateIQ, Spiff, Xactly, etc.)
  • Experience supporting audit-readiness or IPO-scale controls
  • Experience working in a global compensation environment
