This role supports the Go-To-Market (GTM) organization on compensation strategy, design, and execution, including salary, variable compensation, and equity programs. It involves acting as a strategic business partner, owning compensation cycle execution, providing subject matter expertise, and developing scalable processes. The role requires deep expertise in compensation, particularly with sales plan design and implementation, and strong collaboration and program management skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support Anthropic's overall compensation framework, including salary, variable compensation and equity-based programs to attract and retain highly sought-after talent
  2. Operate as a strategic compensation business partner for your client groups, building relationships and context with executives, People Partners, and recruiting to navigate ambiguous problems and recommend solutions tailored to Anthropic's unique needs
  3. Own comp cycle execution end-to-end for your client groups, including market benchmarking review, budget modeling, manager enablement, edge-case resolution, and exec-ready rollups — in partnership with the broader Total Rewards team
  4. Provide subject matter expertise and accurately interpret, counsel, communicate, and educate HR Business Partners, managers and leadership on pay decisions, policy and guideline interpretations, and job evaluations
  5. Create compelling data narratives and presentations for leadership, translating complex analysis into clear strategic recommendations
