OpenAI is seeking a GTM Onboarding Lead to design and scale the onboarding system for their customer-facing teams. This role will define the 0-90 day onboarding architecture, establish learning pathways, and manage a team of onboarding program managers. The goal is to create a durable readiness engine that helps new hires develop product knowledge, AI fluency, and customer engagement skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design or refine the 0–90 day onboarding framework across all GTM customer-facing roles
  2. Define learning pathways, readiness milestones, and certification checkpoints
  3. Establish ramp metrics and instrumentation to measure onboarding effectiveness
  4. Lead and develop a team of onboarding program managers and facilitators
  5. Ensure onboarding programs scale effectively with rapid hiring growth

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years of experience in GTM enablement, onboarding, sales readiness, learning design, or related roles
  • Experience designing onboarding or ramp programs for customer-facing teams
  • Strong program design and program management skills
  • Experience working cross-functionally across sales, product, and operations teams
  • Ability to define metrics and measurement frameworks for onboarding effectiveness

Nice to have

  • Experience scaling onboarding programs in high-growth SaaS or technology companies
  • Experience supporting roles such as sales, technical sales, partnerships, or customer success
  • Experience managing or mentoring enablement or program teams
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms, enablement tooling, or onboarding program systems
  • Experience using AI tools to improve workflows or learning programs
