This role is for a Global Workplace Experience (GWE) Manager at Pfizer, responsible for delivering Real Estate and Facility Management Services and leading workplace transformations in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, and South China. The manager will oversee real estate properties, facilities operations through outsourcing partners, ensure compliance with EHS and Global Security standards, manage vendors, develop business continuity plans, and lead sustainability initiatives. The role requires a minimum of 3 years of direct RE&FM experience in multinational companies, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry, with strong written and spoken Chinese and English skills. Experience in managing outsource deals and project management knowledge is desirable. Technical competencies include Real Estate Strategic Management, Engineering/Construction/Architectural skills, Construction Support and Project Planning, EHS understanding, Analytical Skills, Contract Management, and Capital Planning. Behavioral competencies include strong Communications, Networking, and Analytical Thinking.

What you'd actually do

  1. Oversee Real Estate (RE) Properties with GWE internal Real Estate team to implement Real Estate strategies & solutions in sourcing, negotiating, contracting, delivery, exit and closing.
  2. Support business acquisitions and divestitures in areas of real estate and facilities.
  3. Oversee day-to-day Facilities Operations through outsourcing partners.
  4. Ensures compliance with Pfizer EHS and Global Security standards.
  5. Supplier/Vendor management.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (preferably Facility/Real Estate Management, Engineering, Finance, Project Management)
  • 3 Years of RE&FM direct experience in multi-national companies, better in pharmaceutical industry
  • Written and speaking Chinese and English is a must
  • Real Estate negotiations

  • Coordinate information exchange with multi-discipline groups of customers and service providers.
  • Manage detailed technical construction and space management information and documentation.
  • Use all available technical information and technical documentation as strategic tools to meet mission requirements.
  • Understand all aspects of construction planning and execution.
  • Thoroughly review all construction plans and documentation and provide direction during all phases of the construction process.
  • Possess understanding of Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) principles and national EH&S regulations.
  • Understand business benefits of effective EHS management and have the ability to integrate EHS into business lines.
  • Understand and interpret business drivers as they relate to facts. Analyze business unit drivers and available data in terms of how they impact facilities and facilities needs.
  • Direct and allocate finite resources to maximize individual department needs and those of the business.
  • Working knowledge of contract law and current industry practice.
  • Conduct capital planning in concert with senior management, site facilities planners, and support departments.
  • Gather and disseminate capital planning data.
  • Periodic Capital plan reporting
