Hardware Electrical Engineer

Meta Meta · Big Tech · Sunnyvale, CA

Hardware Electrical Engineer role focused on designing, developing, and integrating electrical systems for consumer hardware and large-scale infrastructure. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle, from prototyping to deployment. A key aspect is the demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize workflows and adhere to ethical AI practices, alongside ongoing AI skill development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design, develop, and validate electrical subsystems or simple systems for Meta’s hardware products, with increasing independence
  2. Create schematics, direct board layout, and participate in design reviews
  3. Document requirements, specifications, and test criteria for modules and systems
  4. Conduct feasibility studies and analysis to evaluate new technologies and components
  5. Support manufacturing builds, hardware bring-up, and troubleshooting activities
