Oura is seeking a Hardware Reliability Engineer to plan and execute reliability tasks for their wearable products, ensuring durability and quality throughout the product lifecycle. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, contract manufacturers, and external test labs to develop and improve reliability test methods, support failure analysis, and analyze test data for data-driven design decisions.

What you'd actually do

  1. Plan document and also execute reliability testing for Oura hardware products and accessories under established reliability frameworks.
  2. Setup, coordinate and review reliability testing activities with contract manufacturers and external test labs
  3. Develop, document, and improve reliability test methods to address evolving wearable technologies and design challenges.
  4. Support failure analysis and root cause investigations, working with design, Quality, and manufacturing teams to drive corrective actions
  5. Create and maintain detailed test plans, reports, and documentation to ensure traceability, repeatability, and data integrity.
