This role is for a Hardware Technician responsible for assembling self-driving vehicles and their sub-assemblies within a manufacturing production environment. It requires adherence to quality management systems, safety standards, and meeting production deadlines. The role involves hands-on assembly, assisting in build documentation, and participating in training. Candidates need strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and the physical capacity to perform assembly tasks.

What you'd actually do

  1. Be responsible for assembling self-driving vehicles and their sub-assemblies.
  2. Additionally, you will help aid in the creation of build documentation, attend training sessions through on-the-job mentorship, or a traditional classroom environment.
  3. Your primary responsibilities will center around the hands-on assembly of cutting-edge self-driving vehicles and their intricate sub-assemblies.
  4. A fundamental aspect of your work will involve operating strictly within the guidelines of the Aurora Manufacturing Quality Management System (QMS).
  5. In addition to your core assembly duties, you will actively contribute to the ongoing improvement of our manufacturing processes.
