As a Customer Engineering (CE) Manager, you will lead and deploy a team of subject matter experts responsible for working with customers to provide trusted technical and solution advice to accelerate workload migration and remove technical impediments.

Responsibilities
- Accelerate the adoption of AI. Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, identify key customer technical objections, develop a demo/presentations and develop a strategy to resolve technical blockers.
- Own responsibility for Go-to-Market strategy from a technical perspective. Unlock product gap for adoption working with the product engineering team.
- Build technical sales assets which help frontline pre-sales engineers.
- Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as required.
- Partner closely with the GTM Lead, Field Sales, and Product leaders to ensure product alignment with engineering, product priorities, and GTM priorities.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
- Experience in people management, team lead, mentorship, or coaching.
- Ability to communicate in English and Japanese fluently in order to communicate in Japanese with local stakeholders and in English with internal stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with systems integration implementation in systems integrator.
- Experience in managing a team through business processes, operations and career development including account mapping, quota setting, quarterly/annual performance management, and managing information.
- Experience as a pre-business manager or a people manager in a technical customer-facing role within a professional services or business engineering team.
- Experience with machine learning, Search, and API integration related products.
- Experience collaborating with the product team to incubate rapid-growing products, fix the issue with quality, and prioritize technical blocker for field selling.
