Anthropic is seeking a Creative leader to own the vision for the Anthropic company brand, defining how Anthropic looks, feels, and communicates. This role sits at the intersection of brand strategy, editorial sensibility, and creative execution across various formats and audiences, aiming to communicate the company's mission, research, and safety work within the AI landscape. The leader will define and evolve the creative vision, set the creative bar, lead strategy and execution for brand initiatives, develop positioning and messaging, and partner with various teams to ensure cohesive and distinctive brand expression.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define and evolve the creative vision for the Anthropic brand, ensuring consistency and coherence across all touchpoints — from campaigns and events to publishing and digital experiences
  2. Set and elevate the creative bar for the team, providing direction and feedback that pushes the quality and distinctiveness of everything we produce
  3. Lead creative strategy and execution for high-profile brand initiatives, including brand campaigns, flagship events, media and publication partnerships, thought leadership campaigns, and brand development work
  4. Develop brand positioning, messaging frameworks, and visual identity recommendations in collaboration with brand marketing and communications leadership
  5. Partner closely with communications, editorial, and publishing teams to ensure creative work supports and amplifies Anthropic's voice across blogs, books, newsletters, and other content
