This role is for a Head of Channels & Alliances at Datadog, an observability and security platform for the AI era. The primary focus is on building and scaling a partner ecosystem in India, including system integrators, managed service providers, and value-added resellers, as well as developing technology alliance partnerships with major cloud providers. The role involves leading a team, recruiting partners, driving revenue through enablement and go-to-market activities, collaborating with internal sales and marketing teams, and owning regional metrics. While the company operates in the AI space and uses AI, this specific role is focused on business development, sales strategy, and partner management, not on building or shipping AI models or systems.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop, manage and support a high-performing team by recognizing exceptional talent and coaching them for success in their role
  2. Identify and recruit new companies into the Datadog Partner Network to drive incremental revenue and deliver successful outcomes key customer and growth segments
  3. Hands-on developing and accelerating existing Datadog Partners’ revenue through business and technical enablement and successfully executing go-to-market activities
  4. Collaborate closely with Datadog’s regional enterprise, midmarket and commercial sales organizations, as well as regional marketing and customer success teams to drive incremental revenue for the region.
  5. Serve as executive regional sponsor for key partnerships including top channel partners and AWS, GCP, and Microsoft Azure.
