Head of Communications, Apac

Stripe is seeking a Head of Communications for the APAC region to build and protect the company's reputation and influence. This role involves defining and executing communication strategies, developing creative initiatives, working with users and partners, managing relationships with media and influencers, and leading a team of country comms leads. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in communications, deep knowledge of the APAC region, strong management skills, and a strategic, hands-on approach.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define and own our communications strategy for the APAC region, including our Singapore headquarters and Southeast Asia and India, building the right approach to support the growth of our users and of Stripe’s business in the region.
  2. Develop and execute creative, high-engagement communications initiatives. Use a first-principles approach to build creative campaigns that strengthen our reputation in the region and advance economic growth.
  3. Work closely with Stripe users and partners to infuse their voices into campaigns, news announcements, and other activities.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with Stripe users, influencers, reporters, and opinion formers.
  5. Manage our team of APAC country comms leads, including our leads for Australia and New Zealand, Japan, and Greater China.

What the JD emphasized
