Head of Compute Capital Markets

OpenAI OpenAI · AI Frontier · San Francisco, CA · Finance

This role is responsible for shaping and driving strategic investment decisions for OpenAI's compute infrastructure, focusing on capital strategy, financing, and external engagement with lenders and investors. It involves translating compute demand into investable frameworks, building durable financing architectures, and optimizing capital structure. The role also supports investment planning, evaluates partnership opportunities, and acts as a bridge between technical infrastructure needs and capital markets language. While the company is AI-focused and the role mentions using AI products, the core function is financial strategy and capital markets for infrastructure, not direct AI/ML model development or deployment.
