Amazon Ads is seeking an experienced manager to lead and develop its Ad Tech Sales organization in Japan. This role involves building and leading a team of sales professionals focused on driving adoption of Amazon's advertising technology solutions, developing go-to-market strategies, and establishing C-level relationships with agencies and enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive enterprise sales leadership experience, preferably in advertising technology or SaaS solutions, with a deep understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem and the Japanese market.

What you'd actually do

  1. Build, lead, and mentor a team of Ad Tech Sales professionals in Japan
  2. Define and execute the regional Ad Tech sales strategy aligned with global objectives
  3. Develop and maintain C-level relationships with key agencies and advertisers
  4. Create and manage annual business plans and revenue forecasts
  5. Build, lead, and mentor a team of Ad Tech Sales professionals in Japan

Skills

Required

  • 12+ years of B2B sales experience
  • Experience (technical and operational) with multiple domain areas of programmatic advertising technologies (DSP, RTB, bid shading, machine learning optimization, ad verification, ad tracking, ad attribution, etc.)
  • 8+ years of experience in managing teams of 5+ people
  • Track record of successfully hiring and retaining sales talent
  • Proven ability of establishing and nurturing C-level relationships
  • Business level of written and verbal communication skills in English and verbal business communication skills in Japanese
  • Bachelor's degree
