Head of Marketing Analytics

This role is for a Senior Marketing Analytics Leader at Postman, a leading API platform company. The primary responsibility is to build and lead a data-driven analytics function within Revenue Marketing, focusing on transforming marketing efforts into a revenue engine. The role involves designing attribution models, establishing measurement frameworks, analyzing campaign and channel performance, developing ABM analytics, building predictive models for forecasting, and managing data infrastructure. The leader will also manage a small team and partner with various departments like Sales, Finance, and RevOps. The goal is to provide clear insights into marketing's contribution to revenue, optimize investments, and drive data-informed decision-making across the organization.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design and evolve marketing attribution models aligned to pipeline and revenue impact.
  2. Define standardized KPIs across integrated campaigns and channels.
  3. Develop account-level performance dashboards.
  4. Build predictive models for pipeline generation and conversion.
  5. Partner with RevOps to ensure clean, scalable data architecture.

Skills

Required

  • Advanced SQL and data analysis skills
  • Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of attribution models (multi-touch, W-shaped, data-driven, etc.)
  • Experience building forecasting and predictive models
  • Strong understanding of CAC, LTV, payback period, and pipeline velocity metrics
  • 10+ years in marketing analytics, revenue analytics, or growth analytics in B2B environments
  • Experience supporting demand generation, ABM, and paid media
  • Deep expertise in attribution modeling and funnel analysis
  • Experience managing analytics or BI teams
  • Strong experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms
  • Familiarity with SEO/SEM performance frameworks and multi-channel measurement
