Okta is seeking a Head of Marketing for APJ to drive revenue and lead marketing strategy, pipeline generation, customer growth, and event strategy. This role involves leading a team, collaborating with global and regional functions, and championing an "Human + AI" mindset for operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has B2B APJ marketing experience, strong leadership, and experience leveraging generative AI tools for marketing.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define and own the comprehensive APJ demand marketing strategy, covering all segments from SMB to the region’s largest accounts, and maximizing total pipeline by integrating deep Business/Sales Development knowledge.
  2. Define and execute the post-sales marketing strategy, focusing on increasing customer retention and adoption, and accelerating expansion through targeted upsell, cross-sell, advocacy and loyalty programs, including user group initiatives.
  3. Own and execute the regional event strategy, including third-party events and hosted roadshows, while actively driving community building and executive engagement across the APJ region.
  4. Lead a high-performing team, acting as the primary liaison between APJ marketing functions, regional managers, and field sales. Drive collaboration with Global Demand Center, Product Marketing, and Partner teams (CSPs, SIs, Resellers) to ensure programs reflect local requirements and amplify campaigns.
  5. Champion and operationalize the "Human + AI" mindset, focusing on system-level process design and workflow automation to drive upskilling and efficiency across the APJ Marketing team.
