Head of Marketing for AWS ASEAN, responsible for creating and executing marketing plans, overseeing implementation of marketing strategy, leading demand generation programs, and managing a marketing team. The role requires strong planning and execution skills to drive customer acquisition and retention.

What you'd actually do

  1. Create compelling, results-driven marketing plans, complete with market assessments that deliver identified objectives to the business
  2. Overseeing implementation of the Marketing strategy for ASEAN - including Account-Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns, events, digital marketing, and PR.
  3. Lead overall implementation of marketing programs including lead generation activities, eMarketing campaigns, product & solutions sales support, reference programs, customer & developer marketing programs, etc.
  4. Organize, assist and implement marketing events, including the AWS Summits, exhibitions, seminars, tradeshows and product launches.
  5. Day to day management and development of the marketing team.

Skills

Required

  • 12+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • 5+ years of team management experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
  • Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams

Nice to have

  • Experience working cross-functionally with partner teams to drive adoption and usage of brand assets and messaging
  • Experience in strategic marketing management and market analysis and demonstrated ability to build and execute a strategy with clear goals and objectives to align to business and service objectives, and support portfolio objectives
  • Experience in traditional and emerging media channels including TV, OOH, cinema, digital display, online video and paid social
  • Experience leading across multiple locales
  • Experience in working with AI and Agentic tools to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the marketing function
