Head of Marketing for State & Local Government and Global Education at AWS, responsible for developing and executing global marketing strategies and programs. What you'd actually do

  1. Lead, inspire and oversee the global state & local government and education industry marketing team
  2. Develop compelling and differentiated value propositions and narratives that bring together AWS industry expertise, services and solutions for state & local government and education
  3. Drive product and customer stories with excellence through the industry lens and ensure they are delivered through industry-specific digital channels, campaigns, analysts, press, events and commercial organization stakeholders
  4. Use market insights and competitive analysis to shape our product, sales, go-to-market, and industry marketing approach
  5. Lead a team of account-based marketers who design and execute ABM campaigns (1:1, 1:few) that align with global frameworks and drive measurable business impact

Skills

Required

  • Experience developing detailed go to market plans
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or equivalent
  • 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing
  • at least 5 years in a people management role leading teams of 5+
  • Experience marketing to government or public sector organizations (state/local gov)
