This role is responsible for shaping and optimizing Uber's rider value proposition across Argentina, focusing on portfolio strategy, customer engagement, and growth initiatives. It involves leading a team, partnering across departments, and driving strategic bets to enhance the rider experience and unlock long-term growth. The role requires strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and people management experience.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own Argentina’s Portfolio Strategy: Define and execute the strategy for Uber’s portfolio of rider offerings across Argentina. Ensure the business has the right products, positioning, and value proposition to serve a broad range of customer needs and use cases.
  2. Put the Rider at the Center: Develop a deep understanding of rider behavior, preferences, and pain points across customer segments. Use those insights to improve the customer experience, strengthen engagement, and drive long-term loyalty.
  3. Drive Engagement & Growth: Own key rider engagement outcomes and identify opportunities to increase frequency, retention, and adoption across the portfolio. Design and execute growth initiatives that expand usage across customer segments and trip occasions.
  4. Build a Winning Portfolio: Continuously assess portfolio performance and identify opportunities to improve product mix, customer segmentation, pricing architecture, and value propositions. Ensure the portfolio evolves alongside market needs and business priorities.
  5. Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team: Manage, coach, and develop a team of high-performing operators. Foster a culture of customer obsession, analytical rigor, ownership, and execution excellence.

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years of experience in strategy, operations, product strategy, growth, consulting, marketplaces, consumer technology, or related fields.
  • Previous people management experience with a track record of developing and leading high-performing teams.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
  • Strong customer-centric mindset with the ability to translate customer insights into business strategy and execution.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort making data-driven decisions in complex environments.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders across multiple teams.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership.
  • Ability to balance long-term strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Strong ownership mentality and ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

Nice to have

  • Experience in mobility, marketplaces, consumer technology, growth, product strategy, or customer lifecycle management is strongly preferred.
