Head of Sales Enablement

Cohere is seeking a Head of Sales Enablement to lead the creation and execution of a world-class enablement strategy for their sales team, focusing on complex AI/ML deals. This role involves designing the enablement function, developing roadmaps, creating resources, partnering with other departments, establishing KPIs, and managing a team. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in sales enablement, experience in fast-growing tech companies, and proficiency in enterprise sales methodologies and CRM systems. Experience in AI/ML sales is a plus.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design and launch a sales enablement function, including strategy, frameworks, and team structure.
  2. Develop a multi-year roadmap aligned with Cohere’s revenue and product evolution, ensuring enablement scales with the business.
  3. Create and curate high-impact resources (e.g., playbooks, battle cards, demo scripts, and certification programs) tailored to Cohere’s AI/ML solutions.
  4. Partner with product, marketing, and sales leadership to embed enablement into every stage of the sales lifecycle.
  5. Establish KPIs (e.g., win rates, sales cycle efficiency) and use analytics to refine enablement initiatives and prove ROI.
