Head of Scientific Analytics-biostatistics/real World Data

This role leads a large team (50+) focused on advanced scientific analytics in healthcare, specifically Real-World Data (RWD) and Biostatistics. It requires strategic leadership, expertise in analytic methodologies and research design, and the ability to drive scalable solutions. The role involves managing data scientists and biostatisticians to deliver insights and ensure regulatory compliance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Provide leadership and vision to the Scientific Analytics function, ensuring that analytics capabilities are aligned with both current and future business goals. Define and drive the analytics strategy for RWD, biostatistics, commercial support Research Services.
  2. Lead the adoption of innovative technologies and methodologies in the analytics space, focusing on real-world data, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics. Partner with other departments, such as AI Tech and Data Management, to incorporate new tools and improve analytics capabilities.
  3. Build and lead a diverse team of data scientists, biostatisticians, and analytics professionals. Foster a collaborative and results-driven environment to support the development of advanced analytics solutions. Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development to team members.
  4. Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including client-facing teams, to ensure analytics deliverables meet client needs. Establish strong partnerships with departments such as Clinical Research, Biostatistics, and Data Management.
  5. Drive the development and delivery of data-driven insights that support decision-making, feasibility assessments, and research initiatives. Ensure the quality, integrity, and transparency of all analytical work.
