Head of Solutions Engineering, Americas

Vanta is seeking a Head of Solutions Engineering for the Americas region to lead and scale the SE organization, drive technical win rates, and accelerate deals. This role involves partnering with sales, product, and customer success teams to translate technical knowledge into business value. The Head of SE will own regional operations, team leadership, and cross-functional partnerships, with an emphasis on operational excellence and leveraging AI for efficiency and improved outcomes. Experience in GRC, compliance, or security is a plus.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own SE attach rate, win rate, and revenue per SE across all Americas segments — Early Stage through Enterprise and Strategic
  2. Lead and develop a team of Solutions Engineers across Early Stage, Growth, Commercial, and Enterprise segments
  3. Be a true partner to the AMER GTM Leadership — proactive, data-driven, and collaborative. Show up before you're asked.
  4. Own the SE scorecard and operating cadence for AMER: weekly readouts, QBRs, deal inspection, and forecast reviews
  5. Seek to design and build with AI to drive both efficiency improvements and higher-quality outcomes

Skills

Required

  • 12+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, pre-sales, or technical consulting in SaaS
  • at least 5 years in a people leadership role
  • Proven track record leading SE teams across multiple segments
  • Deep experience partnering with Sales leadership at the VP and Director level
  • Demonstrated ability to build operational systems that make Solutions impact measurable and repeatable
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future employer sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Background in GRC, compliance, security, or identity is a strong plus
  • Open to using AI to amplify their skills and strengthen their work
