Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Head of Supply Chain for its Tactical Recon & Strike (TRS) division, which builds autonomous drones. This role requires a highly experienced leader to oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, focusing on building scalable internal infrastructure and managing the external supplier ecosystem. The position involves strategic leadership, operational execution, process building from scratch, inventory and warehouse management, supplier strategy, planning and forecasting, and financial management to support long-term production growth and customer demand in a rapidly growing and complex environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive overall supply chain strategy, acting as a strategic leader and hands-on "operational firefighter" to identify breakdowns, drive accountability, and execute solutions that support rapid growth and increasing operational complexity.
  2. Evaluate and build internal operational infrastructure, tools, systems, and processes from scratch, including developing SOPs, repeatable workflows, and performance metrics across business lines to ensure scalability.
  3. Establish strong inventory controls, enhance warehouse operational rigor, ensure material traceability, and drive accuracy through improved reconciliation, tracking, and cycle count discipline to prevent production disruptions.
  4. Own end-to-end supplier strategy, including qualification, performance management, risk mitigation, and cultivating strategic partnerships. Vet, develop, and invest in both domestic and global suppliers to ensure accountability, alignment, and scalability.
  5. Significantly strengthen operational planning, demand forecasting, and material readiness, transitioning from reactive to proactive systems. Enhance cross-functional coordination and long-lead material visibility.
