Uber is seeking a Head of Supply for Egypt to lead the end-to-end strategy and execution for driver growth and engagement. This role involves owning supply strategy, driving core supply outcomes, leading a high-performing team, influencing cross-functional stakeholders, and championing the earner experience. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and commercial judgment skills, with experience in fast-paced environments and two-sided marketplaces.

Skills

Required

  • 7+ years of experience in strategy, operations, marketplace businesses, technology, or other fast-paced, high-performance environments
  • Proven track record of building strategy and leading execution against growth, operational, or marketplace goals
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn ambiguity into clear priorities, structured plans, and measurable results
  • Strong people leadership experience, with a track record of building, developing, and raising the bar on teams
  • Strong commercial and business judgment, with experience managing budgets and the ability to balance short-term execution with long-term strategic value creation
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across levels, functions, and geographies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong understanding of Egypt’s operating environment and the ability to translate local market realities into practical, scalable strategies

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, Business, or a similarly rigorous field
  • Experience in two-sided marketplaces or mobility
  • Experience working closely with external partners and central teams to advocate for market-specific needs
  • SQL or strong comfort working with data tools is a plus
