What you'd actually do

  1. Strategic Web Leadership: Own the web strategy and quarterly roadmap for [replit.com](http://replit.com), ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  2. Customer Journey Optimization: Develop and implement high-converting web journeys and personalization strategies for prospects, customers, and partners. This includes reviewing and assessing content for effectiveness.
  3. SEO and GEO Enhancement: Drive SEO and GEO optimization through site architecture, technical foundation, keyword support, and content. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders on technical health, information architecture, link strategy, and page quality.
  4. Data-Driven Web Experience Improvement: Plan and execute data-driven testing to optimize and personalize web experiences, aiming to increase signups and lead generation.
  5. Operational Efficiency: Improve execution speed by streamlining processes, implementing automation, and integrating technologies to enhance the agility of the broader marketing team.

Skills

Required

  • 10+ years in web/digital growth across B2C and B2B SaaS/commerce, including 4+ years leading multi-disciplinary web teams spanning strategy, execution, experimentation, and analytics.
  • Proven track record owning large-scale web properties and CMS platforms (e.g., Sanity, Contentful, Storyblok, or equivalent) with measurable impact on pipeline and revenue.
  • Strong command of Core Web Vitals, performance optimization, caching strategies, and modern front-end practices; hands-on experience with enterprise CMS, testing platforms (Optimizely, VWO, Adobe Target), analytics (GA4/Adobe, tag management), and SEO tools (Search Console, crawl/rank tools).
  • Deep experience with technical SEO, structured data, and web accessibility standards.
  • Fluent in GA4, Looker, and Google Search Console; experienced in partnering with data teams to build reporting and derive actionable insights.
  • Strong judgment in roadmap planning and trade-off decisions, with a bias toward high-impact work under resource constraints.
  • Comfortable partnering closely with engineering, product, and marketing on performance, releases, and optimization initiatives.
  • Skilled at translating technical concepts into clear insights and strategy for non-technical stakeholders; effective at influencing across a matrixed organization.
  • Experience building, managing, and mentoring high-performing teams across geographies, fostering strong cross-functional relationships.
