The Associate Director Health Economics - Modeling will lead the development, refinement, and adaptation of economic models including cost-effectiveness and budget impact models. This role involves hands-on model development, management, quality assurance, and validation of work by others and external vendors. The position requires conceptualizing models, planning strategies, identifying data sources, and designing post-hoc analyses of clinical trial data to inform model inputs. The role also involves developing tools for model adaptation, creating documentation, and co-leading country rollout and training of global models. The Associate Director will support reimbursement submissions, prepare abstracts, conference presentations, and manuscripts for publication.

What you'd actually do

  1. Will lead the development (from concept to programming and final reporting), refinement and adaptation of economic models including cost-effectiveness, budget impact and other economic models.
  2. The work will involve the in-house "hands-on" development of models as well as management and quality assurance and validation of work conducted by other people and external vendors.
  3. Will independently lead the conceptualization of the economic models, plan modeling strategies and identify proper data that are aligned with model strategies.
  4. S/he will develop tools that explain and capture local data for the adaptation of models as well as develop high quality, user-friendly documentation (technical report and presentation file) for the end-users.
  5. The Associate Director Health Economics will support the preparation of the relevant sections of reimbursement submissions/dossiers and technical assessment documents.
