This role focuses on designing and implementing cloud architectures for Healthcare and Life Sciences (HCLS) customers using AWS services, with a significant emphasis on AI/ML and Generative AI use cases. The Solutions Architect will build prototypes, conduct architectural discussions, and support customer adoption journeys, acting as a technical liaison between customers and AWS.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support the building and migration of applications, software, and services on the AWS platform for HCLS customers
  2. Build prototypes, proofs of concept, and demonstration assets that showcase AWS capabilities — particularly in AI/ML, Generative AI, and data analytics — tailored to healthcare and life sciences use cases
  3. Participate in deep architectural discussions and ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud
  4. Develop and maintain working knowledge of emerging AI/ML technologies and cloud-native patterns, and apply that knowledge to customer engagements
  5. Serve as a technical point of contact between customers and AWS service and support teams

Skills

Required

  • 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
  • 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience

Nice to have

  • Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
  • Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective
