Help Desk Analyst - Hospitality ( German Speaker) (m/f/d)

This role is for a German-speaking Help Desk Analyst to join Oracle's Managed Services team, focusing on Oracle Hospitality applications like OPERA. The analyst will be the primary point of contact for hotel customers, handling inquiries and incidents, providing guidance, troubleshooting, and escalating issues as needed to ensure smooth hotel operations. Responsibilities include responding to customers via phone, email, or ticketing system, diagnosing and resolving incidents related to property management systems (PMS), documenting incidents for escalation, providing user training, ensuring SLAs are met, and staying updated on Oracle Hospitality products and hotel operations best practices. Fluency in both German and English is required, along with experience in hotel operations or hospitality IT support, preferably with Oracle OPERA, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, and understanding of remote connectivity tools and IT fundamentals.

What you'd actually do

  1. Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or ticketing system.
  2. Diagnose and resolve incidents related to property management systems (PMS).
  3. Enrich and document incidents for escalation to Oracle technical support when required.
  4. Provide training and tips to help users maximize system efficiency.
  5. Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.

Skills

Required

  • Experience in hotel operations or hospitality IT support, preferably with Oracle OPERA.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Understanding of remote connectivity tools and IT fundamentals.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Fluency in German and English (written and spoken).
