Hil Test Engineer - Hv/ev Platform

Ford Ford · Auto · Dearborn, MI +1 · PD Operations and Quality

Seeking a HiL Test Engineer for Ford's EVDD team to lead HV/EV feature validation, test automation, and HIL testing for next-generation automotive platforms. Responsibilities include bringing up new HV test systems, developing test solutions, creating and automating test cases based on ASTQB methodologies, and validating BMS, charging, diagnostics, and power electronics systems, with CI/CD integration.

What you'd actually do

  1. Responsible for developing and bringing up HV/EV test solutions in order to perform end-to-end feature validation.
  2. Responsible for new feature bring-up and system test validation of software components related to HV/EV, Diagnostics, and Platform testing.
  3. Responsible for performing GAP analysis, developing new test cases based on ASTQB test methodologies, automating those test cases, and executing test cases to perform software validation across ECUs, focusing on HV/EV at the system level on HIL.
  4. Responsible for performing system architecture and the related validation tests on components.
  5. Responsible for test plan creation, test execution, test report review, and feature validation tests while ensuring traceability to functional and performance requirements.

Skills
