This role supports the R&D team in developing new medical devices by assisting with test setups, component analysis, prototype fabrication, and technical reporting. It requires an ongoing study in mechanical or biomedical engineering with practical skills in product development and attention to detail.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support numerous work activities in the development process of new medical devices
  2. Analyze and document components according to protocol under the microscope
  3. Support the design and fabrication of prototypes or test setups
  4. Create technical reports to document your work
  5. Present your results to colleagues

Skills

Required

  • Ongoing study with mechanical or biomedical background
  • Mechanical Engineering / Materials Science / Biomedical Engineering expertise
  • Strong practical skills in projects
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience with microscopy
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization and act independently and as part of multiple teams
  • Ability to work under fixed deadlines
  • Skills in design
  • Understanding of test setups
  • Experience with CAD programs (preferably Solidworks)
  • Ability to read technical documents and drawings
