HR Business Partner — Meta Recommendation Systems

HR Business Partner for Meta Recommendation Systems, supporting Product Management, Knowledge, and Core Modeling teams. This role focuses on organizational strategy, talent management, and change management to support the unification of organic and ads recommendation systems, including the development of LLM-native recommendation systems and Personal Foundation Models. The ideal candidate will partner with leaders in a rapidly evolving technical landscape, demonstrating fluency in AI/ML concepts and experience with AI tools.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design and deliver targeted organizational solutions with a high degree of focus on scale and growth, including strategic planning, org design, talent assessment, change management, and team building
  2. Provide strategic business partnership, thought partnership, and executive coaching to senior leaders navigating one of Meta's most complex technical and organizational transformations
  3. Proactively assess team, manager, and organizational development needs across product and engineering functions; make recommendations and implement appropriate solutions
  4. Drive the talent strategy for the unification of organic and ads recommendation systems — including workforce planning, capability building, and leadership development
  5. Provide rigorous data analysis and reporting solutions based on business needs to inform people strategy

Skills

Required

  • 10+ years of experience in an HR Business Partner or equivalent role
  • Experience helping global and/or highly matrixed organizations scale
  • Demonstrated solid judgment and experience assessing risk relative to the business
  • Consulting, coaching, and facilitation skills
  • Effective communication and critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrated empathy and experience driving collaborative work across cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated project management and change management experience
  • Experience using data to identify insights that drive action
  • Demonstrated experience learning and thriving in a constantly changing environment and cultivating relationships across teams
  • Demonstrated experience in influencing and strategically solving complex organizational problems
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
  • Experience partnering with AI/ML, engineering, or deeply technical product organizations
  • Experience supporting organizations going through large-scale strategic transformations (e.g., org unification, platform migrations, operating model changes)
  • BA/BS degree
