HR Business Partner Senior Manager for Capital One's Global Payment Network team, focusing on people initiatives and talent strategy. Responsibilities include consulting with clients and HR partners on strategy execution, relationship management, HR issue resolution, coaching managers, workforce planning, and supporting core HR processes like performance management and change management. What you'd actually do

  1. Consult with clients, other HRBPs, and HR partner groups (people analytics, recruiting, compensation, tech talent, AR, diversity & inclusion) to effectively execute on people strategy, HR processes, and reporting
  2. Partner with clients to build effective relationships, effectively manage stakeholders, and understand business imperatives to effectively execute on HR solutions that are aligned to the business needs
  3. Consult with associates, managers, and HR partners who require assistance on HR-related issues
  4. Coach people managers on situations including general leadership skills (leveraging Capital One’s Include/Empower/Inspire framework), org design, performance concerns
  5. Responsible for providing strategic consulting and workforce planning to client groups within [client group] and delivering an HR strategy that is aligned with the business needs
  6. Support the planning and delivery of core HR processes ranging from performance & talent management, leadership development, to change management and organizational design (including spans and layers work)
  7. Support senior leaders on key areas such as building an inclusive and diverse team, creating a culture of belonging, and acting as a sounding board for all associates to encourage cross pollination, collaboration, and high performance

Skills

Required

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
  • At least 5 years of client facing experience OR at least 5 years of consulting experience OR a combination
  • At least 5 years of experience in Human Resources

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
  • Professional Human Resources Certification or Senior Professional Human Resources certification or coaching certification
  • 7+ years of client facing experience or 7+ years of consulting experience or a combination
  • 7+ years of experience in Human Resources
  • HR experience within a global organization
