HR Generalist role focused on employee support, HRIS management (Workday), onboarding/offboarding, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. Reports to Director of People Operations, Systems, and Analytics.

What you'd actually do

  1. Effectively prioritize, triage, and resolve Tier 1-2 employee support tickets, submitted through Workday Help
  2. Coordinate with cross-functional partners, including IT, Workplace, Payroll, People, etc to appropriately resolve employee issues
  3. Process various transactions in our HRIS (Workday), including hires, terminations, data changes, and organizational changes
  4. Maintain employee knowledge base articles for people topics, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  5. Support employee onboarding process, including I-9 verification and occasionally leading orientation sessions

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to interact with highly confidential data with sensitivity, professionalism, and integrity
  • Strong people skills and an ability to connect and support employees at all levels

Nice to have

  • Deep understanding of HRIS, preferably Workday
