HR Operations Manager

ABBYY is seeking an HR Operations Manager to own and drive HR Operations for the United States employee population. This senior individual contributor role will manage HR systems of record (HiBob, Greenhouse), ensure compliance with U.S. employment regulations, and lead the design, execution, and continuous improvement of scalable HR operations. The role requires hands-on experience with HRIS and ATS systems, strong knowledge of U.S. HR operations, and a proven ability to build and scale processes.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own and operate HR Operations for the U.S. employee population, partnering closely with the Director of Talent Acquisition & HR Operations.
  2. Drive consistent execution of global HR policies, procedures, and workflows, ensuring compliance with U.S. federal, state, and local employment regulations.
  3. Serve as the senior escalation point for complex employee and manager inquiries, delivering clear, compliant, and pragmatic guidance.
  4. Own end‑to‑end HR lifecycle processes, including onboarding, job and compensation changes, leaves of absence, and offboarding.
  5. Own the end‑to‑end workflows, configuration, and evolution of HiBob as the primary HR system of record.

Skills

Required

  • 6+ years of experience in HR Operations, HRIS, or People Operations
  • Hands-on HiBob experience
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. HR operations and the full employee lifecycle

  • experience in HR data, reporting, audits, and data quality management
  • High attention to detail
  • finance-grade standard for accuracy, controls, and compliance

Nice to have

  • Experience with Greenhouse or another enterprise ATS strongly preferred
  • Global HR exposure is a plus
