HR Operations Specialist (contract)

This role is for an HR Operations Specialist at Freshworks, a company that provides service software with an AI-first approach. The specialist will manage HR queries, ensure process standardization, optimize HR technology (like Workday), contribute to shared services optimization, collaborate globally, ensure compliance, and support HR technology transformation projects. They will also partner with payroll and benefits teams, and monitor SLAs/KPIs. The role requires 6 years of HR Operations/Shared Services experience, proficiency with HRIS platforms (Workday preferred), and a strong understanding of the employee lifecycle and global process excellence methodologies.

What you'd actually do

  1. Act as a point of contact for HR queries and lifecycle transactions, ensuring they are completed in line with established global processes.
  2. Drive the "Global Standard" by minimizing local exceptions and ensuring all SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) are documented and followed.
  3. Optimize the use of HR technology (e.g., Workday, Freshservice etc to streamline workflows ,improve the user interface and thereby improve Employee Experience.
  4. Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the design of future-state solutions that enhance end-to-end HR service delivery.
  5. Build and maintain deep working relationships across functional areas and geographies to ensure consistent operational standards.
