Jane Street is seeking a regional HR Partner for their Hong Kong office to lead a global HR function streamlining effort. This role involves strategic partnership with business leaders on office growth, culture, and employee experience, alongside managing employee relations, collaborating with other HR functions (mobility, recruitment, compensation, benefits, payroll), and overseeing the local HR team. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience, strong people management skills, analytical abilities, and excellent communication.

What you'd actually do

  1. Being a strategic partner for the business in thinking through issues related to office growth, maintaining company culture and enriching the overall employee experience
  2. Providing guidance to managers through coaching and counselling on employee relations issues
  3. Being an active part of the Global HR team through sharing experiences and insight, as well as taking global ideas and making them local where necessary
  4. Collaborating with other HR functions to deal with matters related to mobility, recruitment, compensation and benefits, development and payroll
  5. Managing the local HR team
