This role is for an HR People Operations specialist in EMEA, focusing on daily HR operations, employee inquiries, benefits administration, legal compliance, onboarding, payroll processing, and HR project management. What you'd actually do

  1. Overseeing daily HR operations concerning employee inquiries to ensure prompt and effective responses.
  2. Coordinate employee benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
  3. Ensure legal compliance and mitigate the Company’s risk by having a basic understanding of relevant employment laws (specifically France, UK, Germany, Spain).
  4. Prepare and process payroll for employees in EMEA.
  5. Explore, implement, and refine people-related projects, procedures, and best practices that reflect our values and foster a positive company culture.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5-10 years of progressive HR experience, ideally including experience in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Strong knowledge of the French law & HR policy, employment regulations, as well as HR best practices.
  • Cross country experience, managing employee populations spread in different geographies.
  • Experience managing the employee lifecycle from onboarding to retention, and exit.
  • A thorough understanding of local, national, and international payroll regulations and tax laws to ensure compliance and avoid penalties.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals and drive results.
  • Proficiency in streamlining HR processes to enhance efficiency, improve employee experience, and maintain compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
