HRBP Manager role focused on establishing relationships with leaders, providing HR strategy advice, and driving initiatives in talent management, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and employee engagement. Responsibilities include HR consultation on organizational design, talent management, workforce planning, employee relations, people management, performance management, change management, and employee engagement. Also involves leading HR projects and potentially a Centre of Excellence function. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 5-7 years of experience, strong business consulting skills, and experience in a matrixed organization.

What you'd actually do

  1. Provide counsel and guidance to leaders and people managers on: Organizational design and development: Recommend and review organizational design initiatives as per changing business needs. Assist with the identification and delivery of key employee and organizational development initiatives.
  2. Advise leaders on the development of talent management and succession planning to enable business objectives and drivers.
  3. Support and implement outcomes that have been developed through the workforce planning process. Initiate and facilitate discussions with clients to review, develop and monitor workforce planning needs for the short term and long term through managing sourcing and selection of talent, development of people and transitioning to meet budgetary and headcount requirements.
  4. Identify strategies and initiatives to facilitate positive employee relations to align with changing business objectives and drivers. This may involve supporting effective consultation and negotiation with key stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.
  5. Provide people managers with effective leadership support and advice, in line with applicable organizational design and MLS behaviors.
