What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as primary HSE contact for assigned areas and their management teams
  2. Support operational areas in understanding regulatory requirements and implementing compliant, practical solutions
  3. Lead and support cross-functional teams in the implementation and sustainment of HSE programs, including metric trending for continuous improvement
  4. Lead or facilitate Process Hazard Reviews (PHR), support Process Safety Management (PSM)
  5. Assist in facility and equipment design evaluation for environmental compliance and sustainability

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science, or equivalent
  • Experience in HSE/PSM field
  • Experience with Process Hazard Reviews and chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing environments
  • Strong knowledge of environmental and occupational safety regulations
  • Technical writing experience (procedures, program documentation)
  • Authorization to work in Germany required
