Description
We are seeking an experienced People & Culture Business Partner to support multiple, complex business areas in a dynamic and evolving environment. Reporting to the Manager, People & Culture – Program & OPEX, you will partner closely with leaders to deliver strategic and operational P&C solutions that enable business outcomes, strengthen culture, and enhance the employee experience.
This is a true generalist business partner role, combining strategic advisory work with hands‑on delivery across the full employee lifecycle. You will act as a trusted advisor to leaders while contributing to enterprise‑wide people initiatives.
In this role, you will:
- Partner with leaders to deliver P&C strategies aligned to business objectives
- Provide expert advice across the full spectrum of people management, including workforce planning, performance, engagement, talent and succession
- Lead and manage employee relations and industrial relations matters, including investigations, performance management, grievances and disciplinary processes
- Oversee HR/IR case management to ensure compliant, fair and timely outcomes
- Support remuneration and benefits activities, including annual compensation reviews, reward and recognition programs, and interpretation of Awards and Enterprise Agreements
- Lead and deliver cyclical P&C programs such as performance, engagement, early careers, diversity, talent and training initiatives
- Contribute to P&C projects, reporting and analytics to drive continuous improvement
- Support workforce design and mobilisation activities, including input into business development and capture activities
- Build strong stakeholder relationships across dispersed and complex client groups
- Travel to business sites as required to provide on‑the‑ground support
You are a seasoned People & Culture professional who thrives in complex environments and is confident operating as a trusted advisor to leaders.
You will bring:
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline
- 5+ years’ experience delivering P&C / HR advisory support in a commercial or complex organisation
- Strong experience in employee relations, industrial relations and ER case management
- Proven ability to interpret and apply Awards, Enterprise Agreements, policies and procedures
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and consulting skills
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability with the ability to provide clear, practical advice
- High levels of discretion, confidentiality and professionalism
