Human Resources Director for Microsoft Canada, responsible for end-to-end People strategy and execution, including strategic HR Business Partnership, hands-on HR Generalist leadership, talent management, organizational design, compliance, and employee experience. This role advises senior leadership and ensures operational excellence and statutory compliance across multiple Canadian jurisdictions.

What you'd actually do

  1. Shape and drive the People strategy aligned to business priorities in Canada.
  2. Lead strategic talent planning — succession, pipeline development, and critical-role readiness.
  3. Own end-to-end HR delivery for Canada across the full employee lifecycle, in partnership with COEs.
  4. Maintain in-country expertise on federal and provincial employment law and emerging regulation; translate requirements into localized policy and practice.
  5. Champion the lived experience of employees, managers, and leaders — beyond process implementation.
